Gozo Retreat 30 October – 6 November 2021
Finally, after much clicking, scrolling and calling around we’ve managed to find flights to and from Malta in this period that won’t cost an arm and a leg and involve lots of hours in airports though sadly no direct flights on any airline direct from a Scottish airport.
Saturday 30 October – 0600 flight to Amsterdam (KLM) £46 1150 flight Malta (Air Malta) £101
Saturday 6 November – 1225 flight to London Gatwick (Easyjet) £23 1800 flight to Edinburgh (Easyjet) £27
Roughly totalling £197 there and back though of course your seat bookings and luggage will add to this.
As at today’s date (20/07/21) Malta only permits entry to individuals who have received (and can show documentation confirming) two Covid 19 vaccinations two weeks before the date of arrival.
Now to the nice bit:
You will see here a short video showing the accommodation we will be staying in. I will finalise costs as soon as I have received a quote for transfers to and from the airport.
As you will see ‘Ta Lieni’ has four double and one twin room so the group will be small – the cost for single occupancy of a double room will be higher than the shared room rate.
If you have a partner who’d like to come along and not do the yoga that’s fine too, it’s not compulsory.
We encourage people not to use electronic devices in the communal spaces giving everyone a chance to unplug and enjoy the peace.
The village we’re staying in Ghasri (pronounced Azree) is tiny, very quiet … Rebeca knows the way to the beach after an intrepid expedition the last time we were there! The main town Victoria is a safe and pleasant 25 minute walk away, there is also a pretty regular local bus service.
Transfers to and from the airport on Malta which is about an hour long trip by local ferry and hire car
Two classes per day
A good breakfast every morning and dinner on the first evening
Fruit, water, juices other snacks are available all day.
